David Joseph has fostered an entrepreneurial spirit and circuitous career his entire life. As the co-founder of DAVO, over the past decade, he has become a self-professed Simplified Sales Tax Evangelist. He regularly travels the US enlightening DAVO’s POS partners, merchants and industry insiders of the benefits of real-time sales tax management. David’s background as a successful restaurant chef/owner gives him a broad and unique perspective on DAVO’s SMB customer base. David is a classically trained musician with degrees from The Juilliard School and Yale University and also currently serves as an adjunct professor of music at Bowdoin and Colby Colleges.
Patrick Shaheen,
Vice President of Operations, Ballard Brands
Since 2008 to present, Patrick Shaheen has served as Vice President of Operations for Ballard Brands, overseeing franchise support operations for New Orleans Brew, LLC (PJ's Coffee of New Orleans), and WOW Franchising, LLC (WOW Cafe) in Covington, Louisiana. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Shaheen served as Director of Operations for WOW Cafe. Prior to 2006, Mr. Shaheen worked for Smoothie King Franchises (Sr. Operations Consultant), Raving Brands (Regional Director of Operations), and Evamor Water (Business Development). Mr. Shaheen graduated from Louisiana State University in 1990.
