Description

To kick-off our inaugural cause marketing campaign, we invite you to join us for a webinar covering our mutual goals: strengthening communities and expanding franchising opportunities, all while supporting military families. The webinar will introduce you to Blue Star Families and their Welcome Week initiative and provide examples of ways you and your franchisees can contribute. Together, we will show how Franchising Gives Back connects the franchise community with thousands of military families nationwide.

Blue Star Families strengthens military families by connecting them with neighbors to create vibrant communities for mutual support. At the 2022 IFA Convention, IFA first partnered with the organization on an honor wall and wrote notes to service members. And our partnership continues. We are pleased to present you with the opportunity to support Blue Star Families Welcome Week from September 24 - October 2. 2022. The nationally recognized and congressionally mandated annual program presents an opportunity for franchisors and franchisees to “welcome” 600,000 military and Veteran families as they relocate to new communities each year while also introducing them to franchising.

The program will kick-off during the IFA Leadership Summit & Franchise Action Network (FAN) welcome reception on Monday, Sept. 19. You’ll meet leaders from Blue Star Families and have the opportunity to contribute promotional items to include in the welcome kits we’ll be constructing, and that will subsequently be distributed to  military families during Welcome Week.

IFA members will be able to demonstrate their support by participating in one or more of the following:

  1. Making a financial commitment that may include a set sponsorship/contribution from an individual brand or business, or a similar promotional opportunity;
  2. Providing in-kind promotional support such as coupons, buy one get one promotions, and other giveaways that local franchises can share in their individual communities, and/or through the Franchise Gives Back service project at FAN;
  3. Participating in volunteer opportunities in partnership with one or more of BSF's 12 chapters. These include pre-planned events, as well as turn-key volunteer activities that are easy to execute and at little to no cost.
